Sugar & Spice is Richmond Animal League's annual cocktail event and silent auction.
Sugar & Spice is not just an enchanting evening; it's a lifeline for animals in need. Sugar & Spice is an evening where compassion meets cocktails!
The 2025 event will feature live music, a silent and live auction, food, an open bar, and more- all to raise lifesaving funds for the pets who need us most.
Richmond Animal League is dedicated to providing hope, help, and loving homes to pets in need. Last year, RAL took in over 1,900 cats and dogs and provided over 6,900 spay & neuter surgeries, which would not have been possible without such amazing community support.
We hope you’ll join us for Sugar & Spice 2025 so that together we can make an even greater impact!
Small Art with Big Heart
Sugar & Spice is home to the ever-popular Small Art with Big Heart auction. Every year, participants have a chance to take home one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork. Each piece is made with love by members of our very own RVA community, including student art from local schools.
Many attendees have begun collecting these small artworks, typically 6x6 inches, adding a new piece to their collection every year at Sugar & Spice.
Preview Event!
Join us on Saturday, January 18th at the Visual Arts Center for a Small Art with Big Heart Preview event! This event is free to attend and open to the public. It will be the first time the 2025 works of art are revealed and the auction will open online! Whether you're attending Sugar & Spice on February 8th or simply participating as a virtual bidder from home, anyone can have a chance to bid on these lovely works of art!
